In partnership with Allegheny County, Pennsylvania Project LAUNCH promotes the wellness of young children from birth to 8 years of age by focusing on addressing the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral aspects of their development in a comprehensive, integrated manner. Using a public health approach, Pennsylvania Project LAUNCH supports universal health promotion and prevention efforts. Pennsylvania Project LAUNCH strives to promote a shared vision for the wellness of young children that drives the development of state and local networks for the coordination of key child-serving systems and the integration of behavioral and physical health services.

Among numerous initiatives that support these efforts, Pennsylvania Project LAUNCH is collaborating with the Pennsylvania Association for Infant Mental Health (“PA-AIMH”) to implement the PA-AIMH Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health® (“IMH-E®”). PA-AIMH is also among four states chosen to implement the new early childhood version of the Endorsement (“ECMH-E®”). This website and related resources of Pennsylvania Project LAUNCH are designed to support this collaboration.
